Hi Art and others

I played around with the drawbars project and it works nice. Now the question is how do I save it to the internal memory. I am having to plug in my USB drive everytime I have to use the patches and live sets. Any idea how I can save it to the internal ROM and not erase or modify the default project

sammycoolster: You simply can't have access to Fantom-G's ROM memory. In order to not having to mess with USB sticks, you can save the drawbars project into internal memory, via the "Project->Save As" command.
BUT: to do this, the project must be under 50MB. I don't know how much the drawbars project count, I haven't bought it. You can check if it fits to the internal memory and save it in there. This way you can have the drawbars project load every time you boot up your Fantom-G.

I did a save as project and it messed up my internal project.

I need the sounds from the internal project especially the user live sets that came with 1.30

Can anyone tell me how I can save the drawbars inside the FG without messing up the internal project.

I am totally frustrated I cannot carry a USB everytime I want to play those or miss out on my factory content.

You have to do Save As to the USB drive. You can not mess up internal project if you do that.

The only time it will mess up your project is if you save over the existing project....

You can just reload your internal project, and everything should be same as before, IF YOU DID NOT OVERWRITE IT.

There are a lot of USB sticks that are pretty small. If you don't use the USB stick you are very limited to only about 50MB....

How much RAM do have installed?

Please do not confuse me. Read carefully what I have written. I said I dont want to use the USB drive, so doing a save as to the USB drive is a no-brainer.

My only question is can there be more than one project saved to the internal ROM. Please do not post if you cannot add value and confuse newbies around.

sammy...

You don't want to use USB drive? Fine don't use it. But you also lose the benefits that come with USB drive.

You can save the project to internal memory, as long as there is enough memory left.

When you "Save As"... you give it a different name than before.

Good luck.
