
When I bought the G, I did that very consciously, judging the basic layout of its initial beta OS (V "1.0") to be very promising and accepting its flaws for the moment. I then still thought Roland wouldn't miss the chance to update that fine concept to full power within months and producing a bestseller that way.
I just have to admit I was totally wrong. The G is a fine workstation, and I get by with it despite its flaws. And I also have big respect for Dan's kind of support (and Roland US and Roland Germany's - the latter did the first sound package). But all in all the G is not remotely what I expected it to have become up to this point in time.

Now since life is for learning, I am now a happy(!) customer who learned a lesson.

No anger, no hurry, just having learnt the lesson. So let's just have a good time until Frankfurt, where we might receive nothing but possible new announcements (if at all).
