Yes, V-Synth loads .vpz files just fine, I tested this with a few vocal samples you can download for free for the VA synths at the Roland Keyboard Club site. As of where to get these libraries, you should try eBay of course, for example:

link 1, link 2.

I have not found vpz files at the Roland Keyboard Club site.

I found VPW files.

http://www.rolandkeyboardclub.com/v/use ... phrase.php

How particularly can I load them to V-synth?

Yes, .vpw, that's correct. You load them via sample import function, just like normal .wav/.aif samples.

I am just wondering - do we have to prepare those samples, i.e. find a loop, encode them, find events?

Dimitry, these are VariPhrase waves, so they are already encoded.

"these are VariPhrase waves, so they are already encoded"

But without loops and events, as I can see in free VPW files.

I think they come from VA series keyboards which possibly did not support partial loops or events. The VP-Z libraries were made for the VP-9000 which almost surely does support these features.

I ordered some libraries (through my friend in USA) and received it. I misunderstand this -"Roland CD-ROM Sound Libraries for VP-9000, VariOS, V-Synth, and V-Synth XT".

http://shop.rolandus.com/product/part_n ... 78.0.0.0.0

They came as Zip100 discs, not CD-ROM as I expected. I do not have any gear to read those discs. So I have to by Zip drive just to read it.
