Fantom G sequencer - info needed

Post by The_Magus »

Hello, i'm happy owner of a fantom X-6 fully maxed
(ram, srx slot, cards) - recently i used it a lot with
the sequencer.
Can some X owner tell me which are the improvement
on the G sequencer ?

For example, on the X i find so crappy the lack of a
"move" (track, phrase, measures) fuction in the sequencer.
Or, on the other side, the resolution of moving / copying
phrases or tracks just beginning at start of a measure (ex:
can't select a phrase to be moved starting on the 2nd beat
of a measure).

thanks in advace

The main advantage is that each recorded part goes into it's own region or block, and arranging your song is as simple as dragging those blocks around the screen (no need to go to any menus).

That means I wouldn't have to think so hard.

Then my brain might shrivel from lack of use or on the other hand it might lounge around happy to not be worried or stressed about getting its maths wrong by one bar.
