Hi. I have a Fantom X8 and X6 and have a performance storage problem.
When I create a 16-part (or less) performance patch that contains either an RPS loop or a sample, whenever i set the TEMPO for the RPS or SAMPLE and store it to a performance part (having already stored the ptn or sample at the desired speed) and then i change the performance for live work , the TEMPO resets to 120bpm so all my RPS and samples are the wrong speed. As you can imagine, when in a live gig situation and performance patches are changed rapidly, sometimes i forget to change to tempo and the rps is too fast/slow! There must be a way around this. PLEASE ADVISE. Thanks

when your are in performance layer/split window you can go into performance settings (cant remember the button you press) and scroll down to Tempo and set the desired tempo for the performance. This setting will be saved when you save the performance

I dont remember ...
... the Function button either, but it is called 'Ctrl Settings', press the function key corresponding to that (in the MIXER window), and scroll down (F2) to the tempo settings and set that.
hope that helps ...

One more thing ...
... You need to set the SYSTEM settings to over-ride the tempo from performance tempo settings. This is a required styep, otherwise the Fantom just chooses the default SYSTEM tempo setting rather than source it from the performance.
If Ur using the MIXER within SONG MODE, then you cannot leave the SONG tracks blank, i.e. at least 1 track, 1 measure must have some notes in there (dont know why it is like this, but I usually call a pattern that I have built to get it set, and then it works fine).
