something very weird goin on x7

ok heres a strange one
i have recieved a replacement x7 from roland uk whilst mine is in for repair. the replacement feels much more responsive to play a better feel to the keys ( my one is quite clattery compared to the replacement)
but !!!!!!
i noticed on the replacement that the sound seemed better than mine , . ie screaming cosm was smoother to play, the pianos also the same just a much smoother better feel all round!!
until i loaded in the user back up i did from mine on my card!!!
it immedeatly sounded quieter and the response was then not so smooth on the same sounds!!#

now these sounds that appear to have changed are factory sounds that i havent edited at all!!
so i did a factory reset on mine and the same thing happened
after the factory reset the sounds seemed louder, then i loaded in the saved data from the card and they then were quieter even thoough they were sounds i have never edited from the factory!!!!
i hope ive explained this clearly enough!!
