Rec Cancel pops up when you stop recording, you must decide before you playback if you want to keep that take or cancel.
this is the only chance you get to undo.

Thats all I can see, maybe you will find more I did not get an official pdf of added features.

Sorry guys but I must post the first complaint...I hate that it asks "assign to a track" everytime you record a midi track...It be cool if you could turn that ish off...love tha multisample and undo features...its all a step in the right direction but evertime you record and want perform multiple takes it will slow down the workflow especially for a person transitioning from the X to G....anybody else feel me?(Understand my frustration)

Multisampling is found in Patch Edit mode. Press F4 to access the Utility Menu and select Multisample Edit. The BPM Calculator can be found in Sample Parameter (F2).

You can also assign 16 Favorite sounds to the function buttons. (F1 to F8 / Press SHIFT to access F9 to F16)


Now you can undo the results of phrase editing (phrase modify/microscope) and phrase recording (realtime/step).

Rec Cancel function
When recording a song in real time, you can now cancel the recording when you stop recording.

The “Favorite screen” found in versions up to 1.03 is now named the “Favorite Edit” screen.
In addition to the “Favorite Edit” screen, where you can register sounds, there is also a new “Favorite Play” screen, where you can recall sounds.

The Fantom G now supports “multisamples,” in which different samples are assigned to each key.

Controller reset
In Single mode, you can now hold down [SHIFT] and press [SINGLE] to reset the controllers.

Delete wallpaper
Wallpaper imported by the user can now be deleted.

Input Setting screen
The Input Effect screen is now shown on the Input Setting screen.

Sample BPM calculation function (Sample Parameter screen)
A BPM calculation function has been added to the sample parameter screen.

Part group switching in the effect screen
In the effect screen, you can now switch the part group by holding down [SHIFT] and pressing the left/right
cursor buttons.

Shortcut to the modify screens
When the phrase modify menu or the sample modify menu is displayed, you can jump to the respective modify screen by pressing a dynamic pad.

The Track Order can be stored
The Track Order in the Song screen is now stored along with the song data.


BTW, I just love the Zoom feature when editing samples! =)

Anything that you have stored on your USB stick will be safe, just don't erase it! =) I cannot say concerning the internal memory, sorry.

Does anyone know how to select multiple samples when creating a multisample. I am still only able to choose 1 sample at a time to add to a newly created multisample. Maybe I'm missing something here.
