re:Automation transmission using V synth Xt

Hi all

is it me all is the transmission of xt controls setup a little convoluted ? I have a patch loaded and want to Simply transmit filter and res twreaks in realtime and capture in cubase sx.Well ,its sounds easy , am i right in thinking you Must have it set to ' control ' screen ? 4 hours and i still couldnt suss it.Surely the 8 knobs transmit from the normal view screen ? ive used well over 20 synths and samplers over the last 15 years and i cant believe that its so difficult ? i only get it to transmit when in ' controller view ' and then the 8 knobs dont seem to transmit what their set to in system settings or on the patch screen to transmit and instead sebd data correspondind to other parametrers like osc pitch etc .Whats happening ?this really is a headache .

seems i posted before about this last time i attempted to transmit midi cc data from the xt.

Yes, it seems that there is a MIDI CC transmission only when you are in CRTL mode. Though it is a limitation, you can record it into Cubase SX with no problem. And when Cubase sends it back to the V-synth XT, parameters assigned to E1-E8 will follow the automation, whatever patch you select.
