I know there are other threads about MV Nation not taking care of new registrants, but just wanted to post a new one.

I've been waiting 12 days, and have not heard a thing!!! C'mon, man!!

Me too... Just got an 8800. There seem to be guite a few new owners trying to get registered. With a lolt of new users I imagine we could all start learning together and helping each other out. Could also bring new life to the MV forum. Help us out!

Agree! I have been trying to get on mvnation for like a year.. What's the deal?

MV Nation is still using manual approval. As it looks from a thread on the site Colemang has no interest in updating any part of the site. He even said the site needs no more features. KeysBeMe and DaMadman are really mods by name only. They check in every 1 to 6 months. Nitred used to be highly involved. After tying to add some more content to the site he's seemed to have lost interest in supporting the site. Once he's gone one the prime info sources is gone. After the more seasoned users like Know1 , BigHare and other vets drop off the site is effectively finished.

The site is doomed because colemang pays the hosting cost but he doesn't own the domain. In talking to 4 other long time members, he has no real knowledge of PHPBB so the site stays still. He switched his prime focus to Open Labs and went so far as to start pushing their product on MV forum. He mainly gets off on people knowing he pays the rent as he's stated time an again. It won't be long before MV Nation is a text archive.

All the same, MV Nation just responded today to my registration request and my account is now activated.
