i just finnished t more hands on sound designer for the roland MC-707 i also works with roland MC-101
it will also get a major update that makes it possible to select more than one track at a time. and modulate manny or all tracks simultaneously:

Why would you need it you ask?
For Easy sound design (finetune the random sonds)
Because you only got 2 hands but 10 fingers
Because XY pads are awsoome.
You have a pich and modulate "wheel"

Yes
it offers no more additional access to the synth engine on the 707 than what one can already do through means outside the 707 itself.

Roland is currently offering Zen Engine hardware owners a free year subscription to Zenology Pro.
Subscription also includes an additional 46 soundpacks (700+ presets) AND a year's worth of access to the rest of the Cloud instruments.

Such said, in lieu of a more robust MIDI spec and a true purely patch editor being possible, Zen Pro can be utilized as an alternative.
