I'm hearing a high pitched noise from the Jupiter X LCD screen. Can anyone else verify this? Or maybe on the XM even, since it probably has the same kind of screen?
I fought with a high pitched noise with my D70 screen for nearly 30 years before finally replacing the backlight (and it still makes some noise). I figured Roland would have ironed this out in 30 years LOL.
If this is not normal then I need to get a replacement sent out.
Thanks!

Thanks for the Reply!
Upon further analysis, the high pitched noise appears to be coming from the 'LED on bright' control in the System menu. When it is zero there is no noise (and no button lights nor the center patch display are lit). The noise peaks around level 20. Some LED's appear to generate more noise than others (e.g. ALL Blue button LED's generate less high pitched noise than other colors).
The noise is NOT coming from the screen as previously thought, though it appears to emanate from directly beneath the screen. This would not effect XM as it does not have the assignable button colors (which is very cool btw).
Can anyone else confirm from this new information?
Thanks
