Custom End Caps For Fantom

Thought I would throw this out there. Been wondering if anyone here has done any personalizing to their Fantom. One thing that always caught my eye on early Rolands like the Jupiter 6 & 8 was not just how sweet they sound but how attractive they look. The one thing that always stands out for me is the aluminum end caps which is like a signature look. Nice to see they have moved that along to the Jupiter 80 and the current line of Jupiters. I think that the Fantom would just pop if it had the same accent. Has anyone done this type of modification to their Fantom? Does anyone know if any companies have these? If not I might have to just fabricate my own.

Given the cutout contour of the middle (red) part of the Fantom, how would this REALLY look, besides tacky? :)

I don't believe tacky would even fall into this category. Just remove the original end caps & install a set of brushed aluminum ends that look the same like on the Jupiter line.

I think we’ll see more over time as they seem to be made of a pretty cheap brittle plastic. I don’t think it will look bad whatever you do, it’ll only help it look less like it’s eating a Nord.
