I believe compability with Roland Cloud Connect will be a part of the next Fantom-update and am optimistic about further updates. I doubt people at Roland support are allowed to say anything about what's coming next, maybe they even don't know.FGM wrote: ↑16:51, 19 November 2021 I wouldn't say no to that idea, announcing there might be no more updates.
I just received a message that made me a bit suspicious...
https://www.roland.com/uk/products/rola ... d_connect/Thanks for contacting us.
The Roland Cloud Connect is only compatible with the Jupiter-X and Jupiter-Xm.
Please let us know if you have further questions concerning this matter.
Regards,
A new fantastic product that leaves Fantom behind ?
Evolving platform...just for the next two years, 2019-2021 ?
Let's see...
Next Fantom update?

Re: Next Fantom update?
I messaged them about the new product being or not compatible with Fantom, since I had pre-ordered it based on the information shown below announcing that "...what you need to give your Roland synth access to the fabulous Roland Cloud library." and "So for owners of a Jupiter-X, Jupiter-Xm or Fantom it’s a bit of a no-brainer.", not asking anything, but of course, about what the future might bring.

Sadly, Fantom is not compatible according to Roland.

You are referencing a site written by music industry pseudo journalists. They obviously don't know. You need to reference the Roland press release, and there you will find no reference to the Fantom:FGM wrote: ↑17:47, 19 November 2021 I messaged them about the new product being or not compatible with Fantom, since I had pre-ordered it based on the information shown below announcing that "...what you need to give your Roland synth access to the fabulous Roland Cloud library." and "So for owners of a Jupiter-X, Jupiter-Xm or Fantom it’s a bit of a no-brainer.", not asking anything, but of course, about what the future might bring.

That is exactly what worried me...
Re: Next Fantom update?
For the next update i would like the vocal designer model, more than one arpeggio, pad changes with foot pedal (up, down) and the Roland Cloud Connect. Please Roland, you can do it
