Noise when switching to/from the analog filter

Post by RichardT »

I've noticed a pop or thud noise when I switch to or from the analog filter on my Fantom 6. I don't normally have the volume set very loud so it was mostly masked by the clicking noise the analog filter button makes itself. However, when using the touch screen to switch from a scene that doesn't have the analog filter enabled to one that does (and vice-versa) it's more obvious. Is it just my Fantom, or do they all do this?

Mine does this too. I believe it’s just doing a hard switch rather than a nice little blend between the two signals paths.

Thanks for the confirmation. It's not much of a problem, but once I started hearing it, I couldn't stop hearing it. Perhaps they will be able to modify the switchover in a future firmware update.
