Demos and Tutorials
I'm doing a few demos and tutorials just for the fun of it. If it's allowed to post these here, this is the first of many:

There does not appear to be much interest. So, I'll just post a link here to the (growing) playlist and leave it at that.

Re: Demos and Tutorials
I think what is badly needed is a kind of 'Quick Start' tutorial. Forget all the advanced stuff. As a keyboard player in a blues band, I use piano, electric piano and drawbar organ. It has taken me several days just to get to a stage where I can make USR presets of these basic sounds.
Re: Demos and Tutorials
Look up Ed Diaz on You tube if you haven't already. He works for Roland USA and has recorded several non-advanced stuff suitable for someone starting out with the new Fantom.dobrojoe wrote:I think what is badly needed is a kind of 'Quick Start' tutorial. It's pretty amazing what you can do with the assignable controls.

Re: Demos and Tutorials
If these videos wasn't published on the youtube and found by myself, I would've returned my Fantom7 by now.
Thank you very much to the person who did all these videos which I follow now religiously. After watching each one of these videos as a novice synthesizer/workstation user my Fantom brings more smiles to my face.
I wonder why Roland didn't provide a comprehensive video tutorial for their kind of flagship newest model almost cost $4000.
Especially while they claiming that their "new" Fantom is designed completely different understanding than any other previous model of similar instruments.
Oh well, again, thanks to the person who spent time and effort to make these very helpful videos!
I truly appreciate!

The only problem is now I expect more and more videos from you! ;)zombietactics wrote:You are quite welcome! By the way next house to mine is up for sale, I wonder if you'd like to be my neighbor!
Damn I sounded like Mr. Rogers!
Please do an in depth video on how to assign pads to certain sounds, chords, FX, rhythm patters etc....
Also I still couldn't figure it out if it's possible to create a rhythm on drums and than connect that beat to a bass like the one we did alongside you on TR-REC video and then play different chords to change the accompany up to that played chord...
Because whatever I am doing my drum beat and bass combination plays like robotic loop and not changing up to the C to G then Am etc.
I don't know if I am explaining right or making any sense even?
Anyways, loyal follower going back to your videos... Much to learn!
