Was just wondering if the Zenology Pro (or even Light) VST's would be free for registered Zen-Core hardware instrument owners.
Particularly was wondering as while I find more in depth patch programming on the MC-707 workable enough, the means of browsing through internal PCM samples leaves much to be desired. Given Zenology shares the same engine (meaning Zen-Core owners already purchased the engine), I could see the (Pro) software being practical as a means of more efficiently working patch development on the more limited view space on some of the Zen-Core hardware displays.
If Zenology is not to be made free for Zen-Core hardware owners, might any Roland heads on the forum know if some sort of soft patch editor will be made available for Zen-Core owners?
(on an aside, as primarily a Linux user, was disappointed that Roland Cloud proved unworkable on Linux systems even with WINE in use. :*( )

Hey, A23P! Brian from Roland Cloud here. Thanks for your feedback. We are going to have a number of exciting new features with the release of ZENOLOGY Pro that will open your patch development options. We're also paying attention to feedback from our Zen-Core hardware owners as well as the Roland Cloud Community. Stay tuned for info on new sounds and features!A23P wrote:Was just wondering if the Zenology Pro (or even Light) VST's would be free for registered Zen-Core hardware instrument owners.

Kronos has a free editor..
What about at least a reasonable discount on Zen Pro for Fantom owners?

Here's me also hoping that Zen Pro will be made free or significantly discounted for Zen Core hardware owners. I have the MC101 and Zen Pro is the only way to do some more in depth editing on the patches. I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars just to be able to do this. Fingers crossed Roland will come through on this soon.

I've a Fantom, AX Edge and 1 year Ultimate subscriction (purchased 6 months ago): no gift for me?
It doesn't seem like a nice way for Roland to treat their customers :-( :-(

Fantom (7) owner here also.
Benefits for Zen-core owners should not be discussed in PMs with people who just happen to ask for it in this thread, but made available transparently to everybody who owns the hardware. You have our contact information from the product registrations.
Edit:
And now I see this:

https://lp.roland.com/zencore-fully-loaded
I would like to have a standalone editor that can export sounds to my Fantom, that also works after this one year. As far as I can see, Zenology only runs as a DAW plugin. I don't have a DAW.

Hi, SeismicCharge. Brian from Roland Cloud here. Just to clarify, sometimes we discuss account details through private message to protect account holders information. I would never ask someone to post their private information in a public forum.SeismicCharge wrote:Fantom (7) owner here also.

As for DAWs, Reaper is a great free option that runs Zenology Pro quite well. Thanks!

Thanks for the tip, but after installing it says:As for DAWs, Reaper is a great free option that runs Zenology Pro quite well. Thanks!
My wish for a free standalone editor for the Fantom remains.REAPER IS NOT FREE
It is a paid software product.
If you use it more than 60 days you are required to buy a license.
