Post by 0kk0p3kk4 »

Hi, I was wondering If the patches of anthology 1993 are they fully editable, like oscillators, effects etc?

They’re sample based.

Sample based is too vague. It looks to me like there are basic controls (almost like a Sound Canvas) but no deep editing on this anthology 1993 product. It looks pretty much like a preset soundset more suited to people that want to write music and not really sculpt sounds. This pic was taken from their website, you can check it out there.

They’re samples of the originals instruments and the editing is very high level and FX. I use the legendary instruments rarely these. .

I use the 1993 Anthology for a quick sketch when composing and then for the final touch I'm substituting it for the hardware JD-990 sitting in the rack next to me :) It's a shame Roland hasn't modelled the Vintage card as well. That's where the synth really comes alive.
