Tried downloading and it just keeps downloading again and again. Anybody else have this issue?

No, but TBH, I cannot be bothered with this Flavr stuff. A handful of sound samples. Yawn. Like if most of us don't already have truckloads of these.

Regarding the effects, I might want to check that out, hopefully they can be used as send effects for audio tracks in a DAW, that might be interesting. Otherwise, a pretty *meh* release I would say.

Sure, I understand that Sonic cannot be churning out virtual TR-X0X's and D-50s all the time, but what about the JX-3P? Jeez, is it so hard? They already have the code from the JX-03, for f***s sake...

I get that a lot. I’ve found the flavr set really useful. I’ve got a fairly complete library, but for some reason a lot of times I need something weird and I find it in these odd little libraries. I really like the drums in the “Funky Flavr” library. I don’t know. I’m weird.

Between Blip Bop and Resin, it seems Roland is getting really lazy on what they are creating.
Where are the plug-outs us System8 owners were hoping for and expecting???????
It seems that the plug-out developers soft synth designers took a long vacation and can't find their way back.

There was an issue with the Azure servers in some localities, including California. If you're still in the update loop, cancel it and restart Roland Cloud Manager, then reinstall Resin.

No, I understand. Sometimes an odd sample may be useful, but still, this is not an "instrument" as Roland persists to call it. It is just a sample set for the Concerto player. And definitely not something that should cost as much as a fully fledged software synthesizer like Repro or Europa.

Again, I do understand that there is a certain limit to what can be released in one year. The existing software units, like the Jupiter, the Juno, the D-50, the System-8 and the TR-drums are all amazing, and will be usable for many years to come. I actually also believe that Virtual Sonic is working on the next Legendary software instrument like the JX-10 or something, so I have no intentions pulling the plug on my subscription. But mixing such excellent releases with this blipblop nonsense does not give an impression of consistency. It is like a fine dining restaurant serving Michelin star quality food one week and half-baked hotdogs the next - it dilutes the feeling of quality.

Instead of producing more of this Flavr cr*p, I would much rather have preferred if Virtual Sonic had spent some time updating the oldest software instruments in the Cloud, like the System-1, System-100, SH-101 and SH-2 with new hi-res graphical interfaces, as the current ones are just painfully inadequate. The instruments sound lovely, but their GUI is hardly usable on a 4K monitor.

In just over a month's time, I'll have reached 12 months subscription - I too am curious how their "yours" programme kicks in at this point ( just as a thought - have you responded to their GDPR request to allow them to keep making contact?)

Roland have recently been reaching out with a survey asking for user's opinions on what to develop next etc.

I was more than happy to complete the Roland Cloud Survey. If they pay attention to the feedback is another thing though.

I am now in my 13th month of subscription, but so far no sign of the "Yours" campaign. Also when I look in My Account, it just displays the first annual renewal a month ago. I am not overly worried as I am on a yearly subscription anyway, but I just might issue a support ticket to check what is going on.

Keep us posted. This is about the only feature that makes the cloud viable.
