Howdy! New here to the forum. Great place!
I love the way the RD2000 will let you set up 8 voices within a program. Great for gigs. I have a program set up with eight of my most use voices. One of the voices is the Tone Wheel Organ. When I activate this channel, and say I deactivate all of the other channels in the program, how do not get the Rotary Effect for this specific channel. Only way I have been able to figure it out is to press the "Tone Color" button, and then select the modulation FX.
Thanks for any help!

Re: RD 2000 Tone Wheel Organ, Rotary Effect in a Program
Zone effects only work in zones 1-4, so ensure the TW is in one of those zones.
Select that zone for edit, press tone designer, select Tremolo / Amp sim, and change to Rotary 1 or 2, as desired.
The usual assignment of Mod Wheel 2 is Internal Tone color. On TW 1, this works as a "crescendo" organ function - changing drawbar level to max, then rotary on. On TW2, it is just the rotary speed. If you change this to either "rotary speed" or CC24 (shift plus move the wheel), then it will be just rotary on / off. You can also change button 9 (when assign is active) to be rotary on/off (again, shift + button 9 brings up the menu - in this case choose "rotary speed", not CC24). Or assign to pedal, etc.
BTW, there is a bug in TW 2 tones - if you make any edit, including moving drawbars, the rotary returns to its pre-programmed speed. So TW 2 is not good for live performance when you want to grab drawbars and adjust rotary speed. (Hmm, what most folks WOULD want to do with a drawbar organ.)
Save your program.

Excellent DesertBoat! Thanks for your help. First issue is that the Tone Wheel Organ is in Zone 7. I’ll change that first!
