4 knob anomaly?

Post by DeMarco »

For the 4 knobs function, the Juno DS user manual contains this on the page 22:
[SHIFT]+[SELECT]: All three SELECT indicators (K) that indicate the control knob function will light, allowing you to use the four control knobs to adjust the volume of each part. Perform the same operation once again to return to the previous knob function.
* For details, refer to “Parameter Guide (English)” (PDF).
I searched over and over in the parameter guide, but not found any information to this.
Maybe also control volume more than 4 part with these knobs in this alternate mode or only the first 4?
It is not clear to me what they are referring to "adjust the volume of each part" contex there???
(...maybe levels of 4 tone in a patch?)

Thanks!

All right! Now I found it simply. :)
So, if we switch to part 5 with pad buttons, the 4 knob function will change to 5-8 part...
It's a good news. ;) I like this machine!

Finally, the "levels of 4 tone in a patch" question:
- press SHIFT and twist a knob to entry the knob parameters page
- set them: CC80-CC83
- switch to ASSIGN 1-4 function with the select button
The 4 knobs will present volume adjustement for tone parts in patch mode. :)
