Hello!

I realized that numeric mode not works in patch editing.
Juno DS contains more 2000 samples. How can it be that it's not possible to select samples by numbers here, only with +/- buttons and the dial? It's very complicated, uncomfortable. :(
Is there any trick to this?

Ed explains and presents perf. mode patch selecting generally, not from wave selecting in patch (or tone) editing mode.
This is my question with numeric entering...

It's better to edit using the Mac/PC based editor (Tone Manager).

Okay and all right, but...!
For example, if you want to search piano samples in PATCH EDIT mode, on the WAVE tab from the factory INS-A ROM, there are more than 2000 samples. It's rather difficult select a wave with +/- buttons and dial.
I can’t believe the engineers or beta testers didn’t notice that. It's a very important deficiency!
And for example, nonsense like running light in waiting time, would be so much more important??? :(((

That kind of editing on the built-in screen will be painful no matter how you look at it. You're much better off using the editor.

And btw, Roland did even worse on the VR-09. There's a registration "Next" button but no "Previous" so youcan't easily go back. And for main selections, there are no +/- buttons, there's ONLY the dial.
