First impressions:
great I love it, especially the keybed to piano sound connection and the palette of sounds.

-however I noticed 4-5 black keys emit a subtle mechanical clicky noise when pressed, it's subtle really and only noticeable with volume at 0, it also doesn't affect playing. After pressing the keys repeteadly for a while the noise disappears only to come back after taking a break from playing. This is quite subtle to the point I would find a hard time proving the issue in store, and probably some might argue not everybody would notice.
EDIT:
it seems to get better over time, i just probably need to "break" the instrument as it's new.
have you experienced something similar to what I described on your juno ds 88?

-Also the wheel, when scrolling sounds sometimes one step movement doesn't always translate to a sound change. it's no biggie, but have you noticed the same?

-lastly the first default phrase pattern (001) when stopped it emits a subtle noise crackling sound, it's the drumkit,pad8.

everything else is super intuitive and makes sense, if anything I'm a bit confused about how to edit a sound and overwrite it, for instance in order to just add a bit of reverb. would it entail creating a user copy of the sound? really?

a bit bulky tbh, more than expected but overall quite nice.

If you stop spinning it right between 2 steps, sometimes when you move to the next step it changes twice. Also, when you spin too fast, it misses a few steps. It's normal. But it never fails to me when going one by one. Keep in mind that you can also use the [+] [-] buttons. They are more precise to change one by one, especially if you need to do it quickly. They also give a better tactile and sound feedback.

I'm not sure what you mean. I've never noticed anything.

Yes, and I don't think it's bad at all. It's good to keep the presets. We already have a lot of slots for user patches, and even if it's not enough, you can store patches in as many backups as you want, or you can use Tone Manager to manage them.

regarding the audio crackle, just select the first pattern ( psrt? 001) and mute all tracks except 8. playback with headphones at 50 vol and press stop. you'll hear a crackle noise sound fading out for about a second.

i admit it sounds worse than it actually is, probably due to my terrible smartphone mic. it disappears after a few minutes of practice and it comes back after stopping for half an hour. it's not a big deal but I would feel better if I knew it was normal...

I can't hear anything abnormal. There's something like a white noise in the background, but it's a brush, often used in Jazz. The sound fading out is probably that, or just the cymbal, or snare reverb. The play/stop button is for MIDI only - not audio -, so even after you stop the playback, you can hear the instruments fading out.

You can try to erase a portion of the drum track and press stop when the playback is silent. The noise will be gone.

The only abnormal noise I hear is at 0:04, but I don't think it's coming from the keyboard. All the rest is normal.

thx for checking, it might be hard to hear from the video but 5 black keys on my keyboard produce a ticking sound, all other keys do not. this sound comes and goes.
so there's definitely a small difference across black keys.

also thanks for checking and explaining the pad sound, is funny I misinterpreted it for something like white noise.
