I just want to thank all the guys here in this forum that one day told me about the difference that a sample library does in our lives. I'm starting to fill it right now.
After hitting my head against the wall with drums I've realised that "DFH" is the best I could find talking about drum library based on sampling. I'll probably invest on the superior version. Just some months and with the blessing of Lord I'll have the opportunity of picking up this babe.
Well, let's go for the real purpose of this thread.
Does anyone have some suggestions of sample libraries in the following categories?
1. Electric pianos and electric grands;
2. Guitars in general;
3. Bass;
4. Percussion;
5. Synths;
6. deejay's stuffs such scratch effects, hits & stabs, loops and so on;
7. Hip-hop drums;
8. Ethnic and specific Brazilian instruments. (I know that Spectrasonics has a library with Brazilian sounds that blew me away a time ago but I can't remember its name at this time.)
Any tip in each and every format will be appreciated.
Hope I'm not being so borring!
Thanks in advance.
Peace - Edu Camargo.

Sampler users, suggestions please.
Re: Sampler users, suggestions please.
Have you heard Larry Seyer's acoustic drums? They're killer.

Hey, I'll give a look.
By the way, I don't use just "DFH" in my projects. I also use something from "Double Platinum Drums 2", "Burning Grooves 2", and Peter Irskin's "Livin' Drums".
The only problem of first "DFH" cd's (including the "add on pack"), is that they don't offer brush, sizzle and mallet sounds. But they work great as a main concept of drum programming.
Thanks for the tip. I'll be checking it up.
