does anyone has a good lead synth i can use?
i couldnt find a good one on the net or make one.
the basic lead suck cause i can play only one note in addition the good ones have some sort of slide when i go from one note to another

Haha, mate, these are called portamento and legato If you want to make a poly lead synth out of a mono one, go to PATCH EDIT, Solo/Porta tab, then switch Legato to OFF and Mono/Poly to POLY.

Wots appening Sonicman. The mono mode you describe which is peeing you off is not a bad function when playing in basslines, it gives you clean bass riffs (due to only one note playing at any one time) & if you adjust the amount of portamento correctly it gives you some warped bass riffs.
Dunno if this will help, but try initializing a patch & use 2 tones. Try using waveform 0464-Alpha Rave (try some other waveforms, for example 0546 onwards) on both tones. Change fine tune pitch on one of the tones. Extend the release on the amp envelope (try not to overdo it). Apply a hpf to both tones & adjust filter envelopes n depth (keep similar or intentionally have a slightly longer time1 for example). Just mash up the sound bro. Dont forget to add some fx like chorus and delay.

Sorry for the stupid post, but I just have to wonder... Why? Why? All that pimpmyridemtvyoyo[and insert slurs here] is still bearable when heard all the time on the radio and the TV, but why would you have to mimic that utterly silly style even in writing? Please, I just need to know!

the alpha rave is available (spelling mistake ?) on the base patches?
i havent baught a srx exp.
im trying to find a good lead for me to play. smth like the lead of Jordan Rudess in Dream Theater's albums.
is it possible to make a similar patch out of the patches onboard ?
