Dear Fantom users,
we have decided to prolong the low-cost offer for the Planet F sound library. In the very beginning of February, the next major update for Planet F will be released priced at $29.95 due to a large amount of new top-quality material to be added. However, for the next three weeks you have a chance to purchase Planet F for a price of $19.95 and the next update will be free for you.
Hurry up, as
there is no place where you can get such stunning sounds for this price - if you don't believe us, just check out the demos and compare them to any other patches available for Fantoms. Each of the sounds in Planet F has been created from scratch and unlike other libraries doesn't contain dozens of similar sounds derived one from another!
Current Planet F features
- 128 fantastic production-quality patches
- 44 drum/percussion samples
- 26 groovy beats and sound effects

What about for people who already bought Planet F. Will we have to buy it again to get the update?

I'll have to hold off until I can have the disposable cash. But another $10 for more patches, assuming they're excellent isn't a big deal to me.
I'm particularly interested in what you guys have done with the filters, doing some analog emulations and stuff because the Fantom filters are kind of fighting me a bit, like the Yamaha S80's filters did. They do have a mind of their own so to speak. ;P

Replying to nudge the tread. ;P
Anyway, I was working on a Rick Wakeman/ELP medley, and was having fun doing some synth voices, but sometimes the Fantom filters don't give me what I want. I find that in most cases, though the patches on the Fantom are wonderful, the filters on my Karma and K200o are much better. Or even my JP8000. Does anyone have any problem getting the juice out of the Fantom filters that they want?
I love the future

jcthemc:
Planet F patches are totally different from the TweakBook patches. Why would I make the same patch set available for free and for download at the same time? TweakBook patches are education-oriented, there are many interesting sounds. But Planet F is made for performance and composition - much greater quality, variety, expression - this is a professional sound set.
synthguy:
I find Fantom's filters excellent. They have no individual character unless you want it, and then if you know how to use the filters, analog feel, LFOs, wave detuning, booster/saturation and some MFX tricks - you can create very lush, phat and warm analog-style sounds.
The next release of Planet F will be updated with about 20 new patches or maybe more, with some new nice vintage sounds as well as some futuristic moving sounds.
Again, I would like to say, Planet F is something you won't find elsewhere, it's the only Fantom library with such high-quality and original material. I am not saying this only because I carefully created each patch from scratch with some concrete idea in mind, and took the time to polish each sound, but also after comparing to patches from other vendors I realised I have *no* competition - because competition happens on similar quality levels. Yet the Planet F price is almost twice lower. This proves that I am not greedy and I do all the best I can to provide Fantom users with fresh new material.
And yes, I do not do any marketing or advertising, Planet F is being created straight from my soul.
