No way, does it have velocity splits? I've recently bought a Fantom XR and I was slightly dismayed that it didn't have velocity switching. As I gather you can get the velo switched version on an old SR-JV board and also on the orchestral SRX.

Have you programmed it with user samples? It's such a cheesy patch but at the same time so enjoyable to play. I'd love to get a hold of that patch if you were willing to share.

I got the samples from a friend who has RS-50 or the 5(one of them friggin keyboards) anyways...i set my Fantom keyboard to respond to a fixed velocity and midi'd to his keyboard and recorded samples into pc...then i cleaned up samples with wav editor program(didn't really need to). Imported samples and program patch to respond to different velocities for different samples...Compared the sounds and playability..COULD NOT tell the difference....i will send it to you when i come back to work monday K?

Nice one Stevee. It's a bit shady that they don't include that patch on the Fantom, I guess they want you to buy the SRX board to get your hands on it.
