Well... it depends on the need and fun..
SRX09 has variety of exotic sound sets so I like it.
If you need good EP, SRX12 may be a good one.
One wishes is to have Roland redone wave forms from those cards in all keys multisamples in high density data format .. It will increase the need of the capacity of the card to 1Gb or more but it may make patches sound a lot better, at least most of them.

Those are the ones I have. I could imagine that SRX-03 (Studio), SRX-04 (Strings), SRX-09 (World) and SRX-10 (Brass) could be useful, but for my purposes, they're way behind the 4 ones in my FS. I never cared for the dance/trance stuff.

Classic EPs is really great! Very detailed and good sounding Rhodes piano's and Clav! More character than in my Motif, more deatil than in my Nord Electro (although I like those both boards very much as well). The Wurly disappointed a bit, but maybe that will change.

My FS needs SRX for extra quality regarding the sounds, With SRX inside, Roland not only offers the easiest UI, but also great sounds, at least up to par with the concurring synths. All IMHO, of course.

i need to decide on 4 expansions that are worth the money and cater my needs which are:
-lots of sounds
-nice strings and pads and chorus type voices for backing
-nice phat sounds
-thumping basses
-really good drumkits
-ethnic sounds
-nice all round sounds
-profesional sounds
-top realistic pianos

what i do not want is
-pointless things like srx-11 complete piano which have 42 patches!!!thats outrageous

can anyone pick out 4 boards that can just about do all these things??

1 thing i always wonder is will roland ever incorporate 2 or more of these cards together??if so should i wait till then when i can get 4 of these cards on only 1,....
