Does anyone know if Roland has any plans to ever offer a Vocal Harmony expansion board? The Yamaha Vocal harmony PLG100-VH for the Motif ES looks really nice, and I would absolutely loke to get something like that for the Fantom.
The Motif ES Rack doesn't have audio inputs, so Roland could have a leg up on Yamaha if they offered something like this that worked on the Fantom XR.
Check it out here- Link.
Anyone else want something like that for the Fantom?

Vocal Harmony Expansion Board?
Re: Vocal Harmony Expansion Board?
Doubt it. That's pretty much covered by VC2 (and VP550) for the V synth. Roland has generally never offered more than one form of synthesis (the V synth being a 'sort of' exception) on it's keyboards and has never provided expansions in this way. The two technologies or a spin off watered down version may be implemented into Rolands next workstation, but there'll only do this if it makes business sense.
The ES rack does not sample either - which is terrible - if you want the ES ROM, may as well buy the MO6 and get a seqeuncer and keyboard too!

Well I don't have room for another keyboard, so getting an M06 (or ES 6) is out of the question for me
