added pads on the monomachine for beat/pattern sequencing (which brings me to the conclusion that it has a sequencer, sh-3 def didn't), mono has a joystick, the mono machine has midi, sh-3 didn't (if anything it had cv), sh-3 is brown, mono is silver, the sh3 had a lid and could be carried suitcase style, mono can't be carried in this manner...
