i bought music tech magazine and they have a cd with bosendorfer "emperor" and steinway "old lady" piano samples in giga format...is there any way to load them on the X8? thanks

How large are the sample sets/patches?

(By the way, Sam "sampling" is when you sample your own material, not when you load someone else's premade patches.)

music tech mag says their piano saples for the giga series are maybe 2 meg each///can you convert them to play in fantom?

The professional version of Chicken Systems' Translator software will do a reasonably good job of converting the samples/patches to FantomX format.

They'll probably require some tweaking at that point to get them sounding their best.
