Cleaning the step buttons of a TR-8

Post by ceylon »

I stupidly spilled some green tea on the last 4 step buttons of my TR-8 a few weeks ago, now they stick like crazy. Anyone have any advice on how to go about cleaning them?

Nevermind, I ended up just taking the whole thing apart and cleaning the pieces seperately. I was trying to avoid doing that since I'm pretty clumsy when it comes to taking stuff apart. It was tedious and time consuming but pretty simple. Now my TR-8 is fully operational again.

You should have taken pictures. I'm curious to see the innards of the TR-8.
