So I just recently bought a TB3 and got everything set up. I do use FL studio I had a little bit of issues with my sample rate having to be set to 48000 from 44100, this issue seemed to resolve as my tempo and sound would get thrown off if it didn't. I was able to dig up that the TB3 is fixed at a sample rate of 96kHz. First question, is there a way to change this. Second, with the main crackling noise, after some tweaks with Asio, and the sample settings, I was able to get it to work for about 3-5 minutes, before it starts crackling in my speakers. And it's not just the TB3, anything I play in FL in FL causes the static. If I reset FL it's fine though. After some more tweaks, I was able to extend this time from 3-5 minutes to around 17, (I timed it) I am sending audio directly through USB, have it plugged in, drivers for both ASIO and TB3 have all been updated. Anyone else having this issue? I'm contemplating upgrading my sound card if I need to to see if it fixes the problem, or picking up another interface specifically for the TB3, probably a focusrite solo. Again is anyone else having this issue? And how can it be resolved, is there a way to change the sample rate on the TB3?
UPDATE-----I managed to fix this issue(somehow) I changed the settings from ASIO4ALL V2, to FL Studio Asio. Have had the TB3 on for 3+ hours now jamming away, hasn't caused any issues, crackling, or issues with midi controller settings or recording in at all.

Re: TB3 Crackles after period of use
All my aira gear does this periodically in a cycle.
The audio interface is also 96k only so is basically pointless. Bunch of old interfaces they needed to use up ?
I don't know but it is dumb.

FWIW, my TR-8 does this as well. It's fine for about 20 mins, then starts getting noisy. I have to switch it off and back on again to get it cleaned up.
I suspect that something in the audio/usb setup is not configured to 96K, but I've changed all the usb connected kit to be 96K, set ASIO to 96K and set my Windows interfaces as well, but still get the problem.
I've got a mixer running into a Scarlett 2i2 and any audio processed thru' that is fine, I only get the issue with the TR-8 when using its USB interface, however that would always be be when the 2i2 is connected, so I could try using just the TR-8 and see if there's any improvement.
I do have a TB-3 as well but just run that thru' my mixer so never noticed any probs with that.

I've also noticed mine pics up processor noise, bit like some usb mics, you know where you can hear your computer working, like electrical interference, not main hum.
Anybody else get this, not a huge problem till you start putting dynamics plugins on. Probably need headphones to hear it.
