Hi,
I figured out how to use the TR-8 over USB as an aggregate device and at 48Khz. I've done a video explaining it with Logic X, but in essence Yosemite on OSX seems to be key as I tried it on previous versions but had glitchy results. I first posted it to a Facebook group and others have tested it on their systems and have it working at other rates, with other AIRA gear, all over USB, with their main audio interface.
Here it is:

Use the TR-8 (and others) at other sample rates over USB

Looks like you've got this well sorted out! Can't wait to get home and try it. Thank you for making this video.

This seems to work very well, thank you!
I am having some possibly related troubles using the inputs on my regular audio interface now... may be something to do with the aggregate device. I have a couple of tracks set up for these inputs, but any change I make to one is seen on the other. If either of them are armed for recording, they are both armed for recording, as an example.
I'll keep playing with it I guess!

Logic x 10.1.1 Saffire pro 24 iMac
I'm having a world of pain getting the 96khz tr8, tb3 and system 1 to sit nicely with my virus polar ti2 as this runs 48khz, gonna giv it a try tonight ,thanks for that .
I've been trying to record my tr8 over usb midi ,which when recorded, I can see the midi notes on the screen,
Would it be possible to edit ,add midi notes delete notes change notes about and then hit play in Logic and it
all works ,then bounce down what I'm happy with to audio . When I try to play back the midi I've recorded I'm not hearing anything ,do I have to change any inputs, outputs once I've got the midi on the track? I would expect Logic to play back what I've edited via the tr8. Am I asking to much from this way of working ?
Im taking it, that you record audio over usb cause it's the easiest way .if there is a way of recording midi I would really appreciate some advice off you, cause it's driving me mental.
I've been into the midi environment and cabled the tr8 tb3 and system 1 into the sequencer input ,getting rid of the sum cables .
Basically if you could give me the best way that you work and why, as you seem to be the man.
Kind regards
