Pitch Bend for a single osc

Post by DaveNJ »

Hey all, I'm trying to help a friend who has the fantom-08 but isn't the best at editing. We're looking to create a patch where there are two oscillators running a saw wave and the pitch bend wheel will only affect one of the oscillators - is that possible on the Fantom 08?

This forum is for the FA-08 which is different from the Fantom-08 (viewforum.php?f=72).

It is possible on the Fantom-08. A tone consists of 4 partials (each with one oscillator). Each partial has an option to control whether it responds to pitch bend or not. You can find this option in the CONTROL section. See also page 34 in the parameter guide:
Receive Bender: OFF, ON - Specifies for each partial whether MIDI pitch bend messages are received (ON) or not received (OFF).
