FA-06 Pads.

I’ve looked everywhere.
If I edit the sounds say of a snare drum and then assign it to a sample pad, will it retain its edited values.
My gut says it’s a stupid question and of course it will because it’s a sample.
lol
I guess I just want to make sure.
Also if I use the pad in my daw while recording, will it be triggered and use the sound on playback?
