FA editor/librarian software

Post by Kingy75 »

Hi all,

Does any FA editor/librarian software exist? Similar to the Fantom-X librarian software?

Last time I checked, no. Maybe if we all hassled Roland to develop an editor..?

Actually, I've just thought - assuming it was possible - some kind of USB to VGA/DVI adapter with a firmware update to make it behave like the VGA output on the Roland VS2480 would be really useful.

I had a play at modifying the integra plugin to make it work with the FA, i gave up on it after a while though as i didn't have the time BUT most of it does work, it just lacks EXP support mainly and is mac .component file (Audio Unit) version.

If you use mac then give it a try:-

If not, lipl (user on here) created a neat editor from scratch here which is really cool:-

One of those will do the job, i'm sure.

How do I get the FA editor on my late 2018 iPad? The hyperlink "Downloads, Full Version (with Drawbars and Part Volume)" can't be opened, and there is no app on AppStore.

Help, please?

Thanks. No trial version to make sure it works first? Sorry to sound like a cheapskate, but I'm unemployed, so I like to make sure I get a working product that I can understand.

I don´t know, if the Midi Designer 12 still exists. This was like a trial version and therefore I created the Template "Drawbars for MD12", which has restricted functions and worked with MD 12. It´s a few years ago, I programmed this, look for MD 12!

On the MD-Website the Midi Designer 12 is still offered, but in the German Appstore I couldn‘t find this software. Don‘t know, if it is still available in other countries!

Hey Candy, with the FA0608 Import/Export Studio Set software, how do I sort my imported studio sets alphabetically?
