For those who've played with the SN-S Tones, there is an "Analog Feel" setting available. The manual describes it with some mathematical formula but it essentially - as I understand it - adding white noise into the oscillator (but in a way that "colors" the oscillator, not one that turns it into a noise wave).
For any who've not seen it, you have to be in the "Pro Edit" mode in the Tone Edit.
I'm sort of on the fence about whether this is a worthwhile parameter to control - if it brings anything to the party or not - for example, I find the Wave Shape control to be really interesting and seems to be so much more useful. Am I missing something with the "analog feel"?
How do you feel about the Analog Feel setting?

I think analog feel works well. I have only used it when creating patches with the source of older synths though, not sure how well it works with SNS or newer synth sounds? It sort of adds a bit of drift.

Yeah i thought it added drift, didn't know about the white noise thing.. perhaps that's in there to age it a bit too.
Either way, i really like the Analog Feel setting, just a little is noticeable for me.
