Send midi notes & not CC via Footpedal

Hello,

I need some help! I want to trigger Ableton lives looper with a footpedal (Boss FS-5u) but the FA08 only seems able to send CC Messages with Ctrl 1 & 2? Is there any solution/workaround so that I can send notes from jacket ctrl 1and 2?

It works with the sustain pedal but NOT with Ctrl1 / 2...why?
