Cannot set favourite tones

Post by wilkinsi »

I press the FAVOURITE button, then press BANK button, but it doesn't work. Is there some special trick to this?

There is no trick to it, you're just not quite doing it right.
1. Find the tone to favourite.
2. Press favourite, then bank, then one of the 10 buttons you want to use as your first bank.
This step is only necessary if you don't want to use the first bank on the keyboard right now.
3. *HOLD* down the favourite button, and press one of the 10 buttons at the bottom of the screen to favourite your desired patch.
To favourite another, repeat steps 1 and 3, skipping 2 unless you do in fact, want your patch in another bank.

Hope this helps.

I just did that, thanks. But I was planning to mark a few presets as "favourite", then switch to list view to see one tab with all my favourites under that one tab. I guess its easier to just use studio sets as my "favourites" banks.

Press shift and favourites, that will show them as a list. You then select the sound and press enter to play. If that's what you mean.

I just tried this again, and it worked. However, I've noticed my FS-6 pedal gets no response when the display is in LIST mode.

The favorites are very helpful in getting from one studio set or sound to another. I have all my favorites set with piano to number one, so if all else fails, I can hit number 1 and play piano..
