The Pads are sent as MIDI notes on channel 16 (i.e. the channel which is set for Pad control, default is 16). Pad 1 is C3, Pad 2 is C#3, Pad 3 is D3 etc...

Yes, that's correct. But it should be no problem loading one second of silence to all the Sample pads...

That would be a nice option to ad in a future upgrade
to be able to use the pads as midi trigger.
Would be nice to trigger the internal chords or arps also.
