Control volume of Song Player
Control volume of Song Player
Is there a way to control the volume of the Song Player easily during performance in real time (slider, rotary knob, etc.)? Thanks for any info or ideas on this!

In the JP-50's manual, look for page 64 - Using the USB memory Song Player/RecorderSonnyDaye wrote:Is there a way to control the volume of the Song Player easily during performance in real time (slider, rotary knob, etc.)? Thanks for any info or ideas on this!
On the Song Setup screen, near the bottom of the page 64, on the left side you can see the following screen where there is a knob "Song Level"
Please see below image:

Thanks PauloF.
I HAD seen that page. I was hoping that there was a way to use a REAL HARDWARE rotary knob or slider to control the volume (and, ideally, also the tempo). I assume that using the SCREEN will not be an EASY way to change settings while playing the keyboard in real time. Or am I wrong?

I would prefer to have an hardware knob too
I know that live it wouldn't be easy to have a practical control over the player volume that way, but I guess that the JP-50 users have to live with that, at least for the moment.

Re: Control volume of Song Player
If nothing else, I think you can send the song player signal to one of the Sub Outs. Then you could control it separately externally (i.e. a mixer fader or volume pedal).
Re: Control volume of Song Player
If that is possible it would be a solution yes, although it should be something on the manuals.anotherscott wrote:If nothing else, I think you can send the song player signal to one of the Sub Outs. Then you could control it separately externally (i.e. a mixer fader or volume pedal).
I've checked and saw no reference to this...
Anyway, the best people to confirm this are the owners.
Does any of the JP-80 owners can confirm if this Sub-out routing is possible on the 80?
Unfortunately I don't have one, so I can't confirm. :-(

Here you can specify which sounds will be sent from each output jack. Select the desired check boxes for each output jack (MAIN OUT, SUB OUT).
Upper - Upper Part
