For the life of me, I can't seem to find the right settings to make my piano patch (living in the second position in Performance Mode) respond to the sustain pedal. This is even with the manual sitting in my lap. Can anybody walk me through how to do it? I know I'm missing something very basic.
Any help with be much appreciated!

Re: JV 880 Sustain Pedal Help
I don't have a Roland JV-880.
Tip 1. Set System / MIDI / Rx Switch / Control Change parameter to ON. This parameter determines whether or not the JV-880 responds to Control Change messages other than modulation, volume, Bank Select and RPN from and external MIDI device."
Tip 2. In the given Performance, set the Perf:Prt / Rx Hold parameter of Part 2 to ON, then save the Performance.
Tip 3. Check the active Tones of the piano patch you are using. The Hold-1 Switch parameter should be ON.
