Well, organ are not the best of all,but when you spend time to feel it,it's better!

There's a moment to compare, and there's a moment to play these organs like they are, without thinking if it's bad or good.

And it's quite good...

Alright guys, especially Rocness & Devnor.....you both have some serious attitude problems! I have had just about enough of you two. It's time to set the record straight........
Not once did I say the Jupiter 80 was piece of %#$@! I never said I was going to give it away or use it for something stupid. I never, ever even once said I disliked it! But apparantly YOU TWO are bias, extremely opinionated, aren't paying any real attention to what I am saying & have some general beef with me. Why do I say that??????
1) I have only expressed MY %$#@ opinion, ONLY an opinion, not a fact. You both are so hell bent on slamming me for expressing an opinion, you are both losing sight of the BIG issue.....
2) The organ sounds ARE SUB-PAR!! They Are! Get over it. That IS A FACT!! If you even once actually read my original post, I was asking for some %$#@ help. I was expressing my "OPINION" on how dis-appointed I was with the sounds. It's a free country....once again, get over yourselves!
3) I have not been the only one in here expressing their discontent about this. I don't see you two slamming them. Why?? Are they your buddies?? What do you have against me?
4) Just a side thought here....if you two were a "representive" of what I could expect of Roland products & what I could expect them to be like in the future, I'd return anything from Roland back to the store, get my money back, get you both fired in a heartbeat & go over to the other side(yes 'KORG')..........once again, only my opinion.
You both have a nice day :)

Mr. Moderator, I hope you read this.....

No worries...Rocness & I do not work for Roland Corp. However we have been here since the JP80 beginning and have tried to have decent conversations among the obvious trolls. A few might have been hit with friendly fire but that's really no different from the way your friends at Korg forum treat their guests. We let ozy play in our sandbox but he really doesn't contribute anything to the Jupiter discussion. If you're ready to "throw the baby out with the bathwater" just because one aspect doesn't meet your needs, don't expect a very warm reception. Same kinds of things happen with your friends at Korg too. You can't have it both ways.

Nobody is fooled there is a kickass clonewheel organ in the Jupiter. Slamming Roland for this seems a bit harsh considering 90-95% of the rest of the machine is pretty damn awesome...depending on your needs. On the other hand, folks in gigs all over the world have been playing plenty of organ using PCM samples in Tritons, Fantoms and Motifs. There's plenty of organ samples in the synth engine, all new filters and FX structures. Figure out what makes the Triton work in your gig situation and duplicate that in the Jupiter. You've set the bar quite high and to be perfectly honest, the CX3 "engine" doesn't get me that Foot Stompin sound either. Neither does the XK3c with a real tube overdrive section. Close but not quite.

Good luck to you!

As 'jabberwocky' stated: "So basicly , with this overpriced jp80 you still need external stuff to have a good b3 simulation, ... mmm."
You think $3500 should have covered that. But since it didn't, Mr. Jupiter 80....ebay...Here I Come!
UH OK ?? Summary of a Troll!!
Lets See! You have 10 posts here..10 complaints about the Jupiter because it cant simulate Foot Stompin' Music by GFR.. or some other organ sounds? First, You havent said the first positive remark for the Jp80...then attack members? Give us a F*&kin break! And say the JP80 doesnt sound as good as a Triton..blah blah(rolls eyes..OMG)?? Second,You bought the JP80 on a whim..for $2600 without trying it and own 3 other Korgs... Curious as I guess you couldnt find a good B3 simulation on your Kronos either..or is it in the shop being retrofitted/updated with new keys??

And I believe it is you with the attitude problem as I doubt any keyboard anywhere would meet your approval. And re: Jupiter 80 being Sub Par?? I can guarantee you that Roland is working on adding the best Hammond B3 registration sounds to the arsenal of the Jupiter ..or maybe Peter@greatsynth is tweaking and doing so as well. Your name says it all about you!! LATERDOOD!!!!!!!!
And do us all a favor, why dont you go look on the Hammond Website for a keyboard to play stupid Grand Funk Railroad records to.

Hey Ozy ..the Luftwaffe shot down the Red Baron!! :>)

Hu. German Ace shot down by German AF? Nice paraphrase of "shooting oneself in the foot". ;-(

In my 30-year long experince in the Army, "SOOF" (shooting one's own foot) is a necessary consequence of the "RFA" approach:

"Ready", "Fire!", then, and only then, "Aim"... :-(

Spraying the whole place in the hope of hitting a Troll is not a great way of making the place secure, much less amiable, IMHO.

Well, whatever.
