Thought it might be interesting to find out the different jobs people do to see the variety of people using this forum.. I work as a charge Nurse in Leeds UK caring for people with Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Well, I started messing around with synths over 10 years ago. At first I wasn't making any money and I worked as a web designer and programmer, and a bit as a Linux system developer. 2-3 years ago I got more involved with sound and music which I never stopped dedicating lots of time to, so now I can be considered as a full-time sound designer, and I also write books, tutorials, plus I conduct seminars and play live once in a while. Also last year I became a PhD student and I am involved in physical research now.

I'm a 3rd generation auto painter. first gramps(painted hydroplanes) then dad(painted semi trucks) and now me (painting flatbed & dump trucks) I've been doing this for 20 years(I'm 33 now.....they started me YOUNG!)

Quit my job as a Document Control Analyst for a major electronics manufacturer in CA after 6 years to move to WA. Still looking for job since late June.
Have also done Income Taxes on the side for about 15 years.

Retired elementary school teacher. Mostly taught grades 5-8 with the occasional class in K-4. Taught all subjects at some point in time except French (Canada's other official language, English being the other).

Now, I work part time (P/T) in a pro shop at a local golf course. Hasn't helped my game one iota! Won't get rich at this P/T job. Also drive for a local car dealership delivering and picking up cars, trucks, vans, SUV's (about once a month - won't get rich at this P/T job, either).

Do occasional gigs.
