Dan...I have enjoyed your knowledge but have noticed an edge to some of your replies to some of us...

You said:
"I have no need to aggrandize myself in front of what is - mostly - an unsophisticated audience. I have the only validation I need: I get lots of repeat business, and I get paid very well. My customers are advertising agencies and TV networks and film production companies ... I'm not esspecially worried about what some guy in Podunk, Iowa thinks of me and my methods."

No need to say this. You do have more knowledge than most of us, but all we want is a little kindness with it if possible. Sorry about the people who get joy out of slamming on you, however.

I hope you stay and share your insights about music and beyond. Thanks for leaving your e-mail address anyway.

Dansgold. If you are still listening. As you replied to my post, I shall reply to yours.
If i have misunderstood your remarks on your last post, then I appologise. They seemed pretty general in nature, so I took it that you were refering to a broader audience. As for the comments about bieng critsized, this was purely meant to spark a reaction. It seemed you were giving up a little to easy. After reading many of your posts with great interest, this seemed a little out of character.
I understand your frustration at members like Naji, however perhaps a better position to take would have been to simply ignore him. I would hope that he does not feel proud about causing a member to want to leave this forum. Especially a member as valuable as yourself.
Having said that, you must bare some of the responsibility for envoking such a reaction in so many members. This should be food for thought.
Anyway, if you truly do not return to this forum then I wish you Luck

"NB: DansGOD, if ur lestening, no one loves you, just some people don't want to loose your knowledge! Well for me, don't care about ur knowledge cause there is here 2000 valuables members in + to the great Art!!"

Naji, there is no need to further inflame the situation, you've stated your case so I suggest you now let it be.

Whilst I might not "love" Dansgold, I do respect his knowledge, expertise and personal achievements. It is in no way a case of we only want his knowledge.... I *do* like Dansgold, despite his sometimes abrupt demeanour.

:o)

I get on the bus here, cause after reading the last comment (from Naj) i believe we're dealing with two a bit childish persons here. Dansgold for continously picking on Naj..
Naj for continously picking on dansgold..

Besides this there's too much in the posts of both (!) of them that can be easily discussed (as some did before)

At the same time these two persons are speaking about intelligence etc. To both: the most intelligent thing to do now is quit this dicussion and switch to selfreflection without letting everyone know what's the outcome of that. Discuss this with your friends or wives ;-) Let's keep this a happy and useful forum!

oh, the show is already over??

Such a shame, as someone new in this forum I just started to enjoy the entertainment programm...

anyway guys, keep on making nice music and share it- thats our reponsibilty, I guess. Havn't we got the rare privileg to live in peaceful circumstances with enough money to buy a luxury keyboard... ??? So be happy about this nice community!

Giving good vibrations and musical inspirations to other people in a crazy world can be certainly a meaningful work... (my opinion..)

keep on rockin,

marc

I think you need to calm down there Naji
There was no personal attack on you. Just an observation of how dansgold was feeling about, and dealing with you, and a hope that you took no satisfaction in this, as it is an unfortunate business.
I think you need to take a chill pill man. You may one day find yourself in the same situation.
And dont speak for other people.
