iPhone and iPod Touch?

I'm a new Apple convert, and I was wondering if there's any sense in owning both an iPhone and an iPod Touch. Isn't the iPod Touch basically an iPhone without the phone? The trouble with my iPhone is that it's only 8 GB. I'd love to get a 64 GB iPod Touch to hold all my music.

Yes, iPod touch is like an iPhone without a phone. I preferred to have just the iPod because I use it quite a lot for some productivity (like synths and other music apps) and can't imagine someone interrupting me with a call So yes it does make sense to have both if you need them for slightly different tasks.
