Adjust EQ (and save it) with a Patch

Post by SonnyDaye »

Hi guys!
I can't find a way to adjust the EQ on a Patch and save it as a User Patch. Is there any way to do this? What I need to do is boost the highs on an acoustic piano patch. None of the preset piano patches seem to have enough highs to cut through the mix on gigs. Hoping there is some way to do this or, if not, any suggestions for a patch that will do what I'm trying to do? THANKS!

Hi Sonny,

just use an MFX EQ instead of the resonance simulation (nobody will here if you have a little more room when you push the pedal in a live Performance).

I do it the same (using eq as effect)...
Too bad the "main EQ " settings you cant save to a patch or pref...
Actually that doesnt make sens... Nearly every mixer got an EQ you can use as "main EQ" for the whole synth...
But as a user you want to make changes for every patch or preset different... Like you can do on the NE3 for example...
Hopefully Roland will change that with the next update??

NEXT update? Has anyone found ANY Update? It's been out over a year and they don't seem to be interested in taking care of any inherent problems that we've all seen listed in this forum.

There is the SO 1.3 and it can be downloaded just from the german website! So strange?!?!?!
Anyway, this Juno S seems to have a lot of "bugs" about sounds, velocity keys, saving settings like "main EQ", etc... but noone gives us solutions!

I'm really considering to not buy anything else of Roland instruments because the technical support doesn' exist!

I'm with you Johnny. It's very sad that such a formerly reputable company has become a company that ships faulty products, takes your money, and then disappears. I never thought Roland would stoop that low.
