I just received a Gator Hard case I bought from AMS for my X6. When I put my X6 in it, I noticed that the X6 is too loose in there. Like if the case was too big. Im not sure if they sent me by mistake the wrong model of case or if was designed whith bigger 61 key boards on mind.
Does anybody own one of these and can help.
Its like 3" wider and like 2" on to top and 2" at the bottom.
When I tighten the straps it looks like if the board moves, the keys are going to break

Re: Gator Hard case for X6 Problem
I have the GK-276 case (6-oct version) and my X7 is similarly loose inside the case. My X7 has beenstrapped into the case and rattling around in the back of an LDV each week for nearly 7 months now and it hasn't affected the X7 in the slightest.

Re: Gator Hard case for X6 Problem
I had the same problem with my Gator Hard case and I don't think the Gator Hard case is a good choice for Fantom S or X - its better suited for 'overseized' 61 note keyboards such as the Motif ES.
I replaced the Gator with that Hardcase that the Army uses; the Fantom fits perfect, plus its lighter and smaller. The Gator is a bloody elephant...

Re: Gator Hard case for X6 Problem
i had one of those and they are little big and I had my PA80 fit perfect in it so you better get the SKB which fits perfect for the Fantom-X.
