If you are looking for new equipment but are strapped for ca

Post by remy0326 »

I thought I would let everyone know about this website that I have bought many things including my Fantom X. The name of the site is www.americanmusical.com. This site offers payment options if you don't have all of the money up front. Once they charge your card for the 1st payment they will ship the item. For example the X6 runns 1999.99, they will divide it into 5 equal payments (no interest) the first payment is made up front and you pay 4 more payment every 30 days. Best part about it if your order equals at least 399.99-999.99 they will divide it into 3 payments and over that is the 5 payments. No credit check for 3 payment options. Again I bought my x6, bcf 2000, Roland dm2100's and proteusx there. To me ths company has been the answer for alot of cash strapped musicians and producers, who love their craft but have to save up forever to finance it. Check it out you won't be disappointed. They also ship only fed-x unless u request ups.

It's a great site, and I have bought a lot of gear from them until I found out that you can get the gear a lot cheaper at not so well known web sites. Keep in mind though, their prices are minimum advertised prices, which means that you are paying a lot more than the actual street prices, if you shop around.

Just as an example, if you were to buy a Fantom X8 from them using their payment plan you would pay $2795, I bought mine through Guitar Center for $2339 out the door, that's a savings of $456 over AMS, even if you charge the whole thing on a credit card and pay in 5 months, you could save some money.

I actually prefer music123.com, they beat any price and with their credit card you can get 6 to 12 month interest free financing.

This is true about them being cheaper. But there is no guitar center no where near where I live and I couldn't find an X8 on there site. A price will always be paid for convenience. I also noticed at most places a person has to have decent credit score to get a credit line for a music store. So if a person doesn't have the credit but has the money American Musical is a good site and rep. American Musical also does price match and offers a free extra year warranty on their products. Not debating just offering insight to the cash poor and credit challanged. If people don't fall into this catergory more power to you, I'll be with you one day.
