I think the premise of SRX piano was to give Other XV synth

Post by thunderkyss »

I think the premise of SRX piano was to give Other XV synth owners a piano that was on Par with the Fantom's Ultimate piano.
At the same time, it is not redundant to any previously released instrument, SRX or otherwise. So like the Ultimate piano, it is 88 keys sampled at 4 levels, but it is a different piano. Where the Ultimate piano may be a Steinway, the SRX-11 may be an August Foerster.

I'd be interested in hearing opinions from anyone who purchases the SRX-11. If it's sufficiently *different* from the F-X's Ultimate Grand then I'll probably buy it for the variety. I guiltily admit to use my F-X8 for playing piano 90% of the time :-)

Time to sell the SRX-02 methinks. Wasn't really using it anyway :/
